Biography
Dr. Caitlin Drumm, M.D., MHPE, FAAP, is an active-duty Air Force neonatologist with a research interest in healthcare outcomes, neonatal medicine, and utilizing quality improvement to ensure high-quality care. She received her M.D. from the Uniformed Services University in 2012 and was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force upon graduation. She completed her pediatric residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2015 followed by a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. She is currently a staff neonatologist, member of the critical care air transport team, and medical director of the U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa neonatal intensive care unit. Her current research activities include qualitative assessment of gender equity within graduate medical education.
