Research interests

My laboratory has been focused on the role of T cells in autoimmunity and transplantation. To this end, we have used a murine model, the parent-into-F1 model of graft-vs.-host disease to dissect the mechanisms, cellular immunology, cytokines and more recently the genes involved in the generation of acute cytotoxic GVHD vs. chronic lupus-like GVHD.
