Biography
Danielle Barnes, MD is a pediatric gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and physician–educator whose scholarly work bridges clinical innovation, medical education, and mentorship within academic and military medicine. Her research portfolio centers on pediatric gastrointestinal disease, with particular emphasis on eosinophilic esophagitis, intestinal failure, cystic fibrosis–related GI care, and microbiome-based therapeutics, including donor selection and outcomes in fecal microbiota transplantation.
