Biography

Dr. Elliot M. Jessie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University, Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and Associate Program Director of the NCR General Surgery Residency Program. He complete is general surgery residency at the then National Naval Medical Center and his Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Jessie is an accomplished surgeon and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Jessie has many peer-reviewed publications and is also a member of multiple societies including the Eastern Association for the Surgery in Trauma, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Society of Black Academic Surgeons.
