Biography
Colonel Erica Hill graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 2002 and served as a personnel officer for two years. She graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and completed internal medicine residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio in 2011. Dr Hill completed rheumatology fellowship in 2013 at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Texas and received the American College of Rheumatology Distinguished Fellow Award. She has served at BAMC since 2013. She has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr Hill is board certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is currently the Program Director for the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) rheumatology fellowship and before assuming this role in 2019, she was the rheumatology fellowship Associate Program Director and key clinical faculty for the SAUSHEC internal medicine residency program. In addition to medical education, Dr Hill has an interest in risk management and quality improvement. She has served as the internal medicine subject matter expect for the BAMC risk management committee since 2019.
