Dr. Holly S. Meyer is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Student Affairs in the Department of Health Professions Education (HPE) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU). She holds joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine and HPE. Dr. Meyer earned her PhD in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a focus on curriculum and instruction.
A recognized leader in HPE, Dr. Meyer’s expertise spans academic coaching, curriculum design, assessment strategies, and leadership development. She has played key roles in national initiatives, including as a fellow and coach in the AAMC’s LEAD program, and has co-led multi-institutional projects on advising, identity formation, and educational leadership. Her research portfolio includes over 50 peer-reviewed publications and extensive mentoring of medical and graduate students across military and civilian contexts.
