Biography

Dr. Jamie Geringer was born in Urbana, Illinois, and has served in the US Air Force since 2013. She attended medical school at the University of New England in Biddeford Maine and completed Internal Medicine residency training at the San Antonio Uniformed Services of Health Education Consortium from 2017-2020. Following this, she served as a chief resident and then as an Internal Medicine physician attending. She is currently serving as the Assistant Ambulatory Clerkship site director for Internal Medicine in San Antonio. She is currently working on a Masters in Health Professions Education from the Uniformed Services University. She is an assistant professor of Medicine. She is preparing to present academic workshops on helping others cope with grief and delivering faculty feedback. She is also participating in ongoing research about self-assessment and imposter syndrome in the chief resident population.
