Biography

Dr Thomas graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2011. He completed his Medical Degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. He went on to Wright Patterson Air Force Base for Internal Medicine residency which was partnered with Wright State University. He stayed an extra year as Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Program. He accomplished his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship training through San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2022. He currently serves at Brooke Army Medical Center as the Medical ICU Director and Post-Acute Respiratory Illness Clinic Director. His research interests are related to improving treatments with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Operationally, Major Thomas serves as a Critical Care Air Transport physician and can perform extracorporeal membrane oxygenation during air transport
