Biography

LTC Jeanne Krick, MD, MA is an active-duty Army Neonatologist and Ethicist who is currently stationed at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She is currently the program director for the Neonatology-Perinatology Fellowship and serves as the Consultant to the Surgeon General of the Army for Medical Ethics, as well as the Deputy Consultant for Pediatric Subspecialties. She is also the current chair of the Ethics Committee for the San Antonio Military Health System. 

She attended undergraduate at the United States Military Academy and completed her medical degree at USUHS. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and her Neonatology Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. While there, she also completed a Clinical Bioethics Fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital and received an MA from the University of Washington in Bioethics and Humanities. She is currently enrolled in the Masters in Health Professions Education program at USU. 

She has active research interests in parent-physician communication, neonatal ethics, periviability, military bioethics, and bioethics education. She is married to Joe, an Army Reserve officer, and they have two sons.
