Experienced and board certified hematologist/oncologist with a busy clinical practice focusing on breast cancer, hematologic malignancies, transfusion medicine, and clinical trials. Deputy Director of the FACT Accredited Hemaopoietic Stem Cell Program. Chair of the WRNMMC Cancer Care Committee which maintains the Commission on Cancer Accreditation for the hospital. As the most senior clinician at WRNMMC for management of Breast cancer, Hematologic Malignancies, and Transfusion Medicine, he is sought out daily by peers and multidisciplinary team for recommendations for management of patients. Proven physician leader with experience problem-solving and managing budgets, work-flow, personnel, productivity, access to care, and morale with constrained resources. Academic background with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 presentations at national and international meetings. Talented educator with awards for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
