Dr. Yabes is an infectious disease clinician, researcher, and educator. His research interests include infectious complications of battlefield injuries, HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and virtual healthcare delivery modalities. Dr. Yabes is the Director of the United States Air and Space Force HIV Medical Evaluation Unit and Associate Program Director of the Infectious Disease Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center.
