Biography
Dr. Fenderson is a hematologist/medical oncologist, educator, researcher, and leader in the advancement of military oncology and battlefield resuscitation. Dr. Fenderson has extensive experience working as a clinician, educator and mentor. He is the chair of the Defense Health Agency Oncology Clinical Community where he represents all oncologists across the Agency and advises leaders on policy related to cancer care delivery. Additionally, he represent the Department of Defense interest on several White House Cancer Moonshot initiatives. Dr. Fenderson is currently a physician research scientist at the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research working to improve survival from traumatic hemorrhage and battlefield injury.
