Dr. Kara Garcia is a board certified general pediatrician and breastfeeding medicine specialist. She is the Director of the Pediatric Advanced Clinical Rotations at USUHS. Dr. Garcia graduated as a distinguished graduate with a BS in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy. She earned her Medical Doctorate from USUHS and went on to Pediatrics Residency at the National Capitol Consortium. During her time as a General Pediatrician in the USAF she pursued both her IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and board certification in Breastfeeding Medicine through the North American Board of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine.
