Personal profile

Research interests

Med-Health and Disease ecologist and a former U.S. Navy entomologist. My research focuses on latitudinal and seasonal health care systems and disease ecology across climate and landscape changes. I build risk models using data science and field collected data to demonstrate the phylo-geographic mosaic of diseases, environmental and public health hazards to support force health protection in deployed environments and U.S. military bases. I integrate AI and machine learning techniques encompassing Remote Sensing (RS) indicators for future prediction of health risks due to landscape-climate changes and socio-economic factors. I develop, with my collaborators, user-friendly platforms for disease-risk mapping and arthropod identification using AI.
