Dr. Nancy L. Miller is a distinguished medical professional, widely recognized for her exceptional contributions in the field of nephrology and internal medicine. With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, Dr. Miller has exemplified leadership, expertise, and dedication in both military and academic settings.

Dr. Miller's journey in medicine commenced with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Albertson College of Idaho in 2000, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2005. Her commitment to serving in the United States Navy led her to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, California. Subsequently, she pursued a Fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at UC San Diego, solidifying her expertise in renal care.

Presently, Dr. Miller serves as a Staff Physician within the Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine at Naval Medical Center San Diego, California, a position she has held since 2013. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she has taken on the pivotal role of Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, overseeing the training and development of future physicians.

Throughout her career, Dr. Miller has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, recognizing her outstanding contributions to medical education, patient care, and leadership. Notably, she has been honored with the Navy ACP NMCSD Staff Teacher of the Year award and the prestigious Patricia V. Pepper Outstanding Female Leadership Award.
