The Uniformed Services University (USU) workshop, “Are We the Plant or the Gardener?” hypothesized if burnout represents a “dehumanized” state, gardening interventions foster engagement - “the antithesis of burnout” - enhancing wellbeing. The research explores the validity of this hypothesis from a mixed methods approach.
