A retrospective study comparing the three years in which the USU Admissions Committee blinded themselves to MCAT scores that were above the 50th percentile to the years prior to blinding.

Key findings

Blinding MCAT scores reduced opportunity for priority applicants by penalizing those with the highest scores vice benefiting those with middle zone scores.
