Abstract

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major public health concern.¹ In the United States, there are over 200, 000 TBI-related hospitalizations per year, more than 70, 000 TBI-related deaths, ² and an estimated 5 million people living with long-term disability because of TBI.³
