Abstract

This chapter presents the use of augmented reality (AR) applications in science classes. Additionally, a study is presented in which the augmented reality application, Elements 4D by Daqri, was used for teaching chemistry in an elementary science methods class. Findings suggest that augmented reality is an exciting way to immerse students in the subject matter by using technology.
