Abstract
This chapter examines the effects of computerized information on the ways in which we make medical decisions and interact with patients. It discusses recent changes in social media, telemedicine, and artificial versus augmented intelligence. It does so within the long-standing ethical traditions of medicine and the imperative to keep clinical practice patient centered.
