Abstract

The authors regret that in the original manuscript In the Discussion on page 8 bottom of the first paragraph in the first column where reference 33 is cited it was stated that: “At the same time, Gillies et al. documented reductions in opioid initiation and long-term use in New Zealand between 2014 and 2020”. This should be corrected to: “At the same time, Gillies et al. documented reductions in opioid initiation and long-term use in New South Wales, Australia between 2014 and 2020.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
