Abstract

The most common neurologic complication in patients with AIDS is HIV encephalopathy, but opportunistic CNS infections are also frequent. Drs. Decker and Tuazon discuss the diagnostic modalities and therapeutic regimens that are available for HIV-infected patients with toxoplasmosis, cryptococcal meningitis, and other opportunistic CNS infections.
