Abstract

The correlation dimension has been calculated for electroencephalographic signals, and it was found that the dimension increases during periods of cognitive activity. Dynamical measures were also calculated for single trial ERP (event related potential) signals. The correlation index of an ERP elicited in response to a target stimulus is less than that obtained in response to a nontarget stimulus.
