Abstract
Techniques of modelling bone geometry have been presented. First, factors influencing bone geometry were discussed, then normalizing factors were presented. Methods for obtaining bone geometry data were presented, and mathematical modelling techniques of B-spline curves and surfaces discussed. An example of femur shaft approximation and modelling with B-splines was presented.
