Abstract
Military research encompasses a wide variety of topics that would benefit from the advanced analytical techniques of mathematical psychology. This tutorial provides important context and guidance on how to best prepare and present experimental findings for a military audience. The first discussion points cover how decisions are made by end users and funders in the military. Next, several simple approaches are described to convert inferential statistics and effect size information into data more readily appreciable by military end users. Finally, the tutorial concludes with simple guidance that should help anyone interested in military research better convey their findings to funding agencies and for practical applications.
