Abstract

This report of dobutamine-associated eosinophilia, fever, and eosinophilic myocardial hypersensitivity illustrates the substantial risk of severe sequelae stemming from diagnostic delay. Recognition of this rare condition should catalyze exploration for feasible dobutamine alternatives, thereby minimizing morbidity and optimizing outcomes.
