Abstract

Physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators need to prepare for the unexpected. Civil unrest, protests, and mass demonstrations are increasingly familiar worldwide events, stressing all aspects of society. Dedicated preparation by hospitals and healthcare workers is critical in order to save lives during these challenging events.
