Abstract

The Editors-in-Chief have retracted this article. After the publication of the article, concerns have been raised regarding image overlaps in Fig. 3A, B with images from previously published articles [1, 2]. An investigation report by Uniformed Services University found the below concerns. Reused HCV + FFA ß-actin lanes of Fig. 5A of [11 was relabeled as IETD-FMK TOV-21G ß- actin lanes in Fig. 3A. Reused ß-actin lanes of Fig. 7A of [1] was relabeled as IETD-FMK ß-actin lanes in Fig. 3A. Falsified ß-actin lanes for {}ES-2 LY294002 of Fig. 4B, lanes 1–4 of [2] was reused as Z-LEHD-FMK HED 59 ß-actin lanes in Fig. 3B. Reused HCV + FFA ß-actin lanes of Fig. 5A of [11 was relabeled as IETD-FMK TOV-21G ß- actin lanes in Fig. 3A. Reused ß-actin lanes of Fig. 7A of [1] was relabeled as IETD-FMK ß-actin lanes in Fig. 3A.
