Abstract
LH presented to our weekly clinic with chronic wrist, knee and low back pain from a previous motor vehicle accident. He was the first patient at our clinic to be offered acupuncture, and he has since become its biggest proponent. LH now receives regular auricular acupuncture and has recommended acupuncture to other displaced individuals. As a result of his frequent visits for acupuncture, social workers were able to work more closely with him to secure permanent housing.
