Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The objectives of the proposed review are to provide a comprehensive review and analysis of published reports of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of tricyclic antidepressants for reducing headache burden among adults with migraine or tension-type headache (frequent episodic or chronic), and to determine whether efficacy varies according to the specific headache diagnosis or potentially important patient characteristics, such as coexisting depression.
