Abstract
This chapter offers an overview and updated representation of vascular liver disorders listed as follows: an overview of the liver anatomy and portal system as it pertains to disease processes; a review of the clinical presentation, diagnostic, treatment, and management recommendation of Budd-Chiari syndrome; an updated classification of portal vein thrombosis; outlines of the management recommendation in portal vein thrombosis with and without cirrhosis; updated diagnostic, treatment, and management recommendations for sinusoidal obstruction syndrome, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, and hepatic artery aneurysms; and an overview of peliosis hepatis, hepatic ischemia, and congestive hepatopathy.
